Partnerships: Cultivating communities

The California Women's Business Center (CA WBC) is a statewide initiative dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs across California. Funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration, CA WBC provides essential resources, training, and support to help women start, grow, and scale their businesses. The SBA's funding enables WBCs to offer a range of services for women entrepreneurs, including one-on-one business counseling, workshops, and access to capital.

The Association of Women's Business Centers (AWBC) is dedicated to fostering economic justice and entrepreneurial opportunities for women across the United States. Supporting nearly 150 Women's Business Centers nationwide, AWBC provides training, mentoring, business development, and financing opportunities to over 150,000 women entrepreneurs annually. In partnership with Verizon, AWBC offers the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready program, equipping small businesses with essential digital tools and resources. Through these initiatives, AWBC plays a pivotal role in empowering women entrepreneurs and strengthening the economic fabric of communities nationwide.

Sky's the Limit empowers underrepresented entrepreneurs by unlocking the power of social capital and skilled mentoring. Through their innovative digital platform, they connect entrepreneurs with experienced mentors, providing essential support and resources to help launch and grow their businesses. With a focus on inclusivity, Sky's the Limit has educated over 60,000 entrepreneurs and created or sustained more than 8,400 jobs. Their mission is to foster a global community where every entrepreneur is valued and has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Centro Community Partners, located in Oakland, CA, is dedicated to empowering underserved entrepreneurs, particularly women and people of color. They provide essential resources, including entrepreneurship education, financial literacy, and access to capital through interest-free Kiva loans. By fostering small business growth, Centro helps create self-sustaining jobs and contributes to the economic vitality of local communities. Their commitment to uplifting marginalized groups positions them as a vital ally in the journey toward economic equity.
